Description
Understanding the performance of an AI product is an important precursor to deciding on adoption. While summary performance statistics are reported for Regulation, it is also important to understand how the product will behave on more stratified sub-groups. How the product will work at a particular clinical site with local populations, local operators and local acquisition methods, should be evaluated in terms of performance and fairness. We present a study into validating a commercial stroke detection product at a NHS trust in the UK.
